windows users plug their samsung phone into a monitor and instantly figure out how to use samsung dex because its exciting and they actually care
but when presented with a linux desktop theyre somehow totally lost and immediately give up, or they try their best and act like its the most complicated task theyve ever done
i feel like "linux is hard" is a psychological thing and not actually real
@nano they are scared of not using microsoft why do you think they PAY them for it? they are in a kind of stockholm syndrome from using windows all their life. when all they know is being fucked in the ass by windows updates they have an emotional response to the thought of computers which do not abuse them, it's scary because maybe it'll rape them in all holes instead of just the butt, because microsoft said such happens on linux
@jeff@nano achtually it runs Linux but it's masked away so you're not fussing because googles fix for wifi not working is to paste some shit in terminal
@mischievoustomato@nano@jeff No joke I always see SteamOS users complaining "why did Steam deck break after this update" meanwhile if you complain about ChromeOS an internet defense force comes out to let you know why Chomebooks are amazing.
@FrailLeaf@nano@jeff@mischievoustomato see people buying these think they're online only so they have to tell people they're offline too and pay people to sell these in walmart.
@FrailLeaf@nano@jeff@mischievoustomato just wait till you see the people using chromebooks as real laptops with linux/windows (the future is now old man)
