@GNUxeava@mischievoustomato it isn't. people go use what base image was there at the time, build their Flatpak, and publish it on flathub. The common base image is a snapshot of Fedora. Fedora gets tumbled every six months.
The problem is using a semi rolling release as a base image and then only rebuilding the packages on a new release of the software (if they even update the sdk.)
You can entirely botch the job like this with docker and in the same way.
