@cato well shops are closed Sunday in Elsass-Lothringen due to... historical laws.
I agree it's dumb for unmanned shops but I don't want deliveries on Sunday or do shopping on that day, people in retail also deserve to see their families (and friends) and get a day of rest, religion or not.
