My rib cage has been hurting for 2 weeks at this point but I just know if I go to the doctor about it they're just going to tell me "rest up and take it easy" and then charge me $5,000
@genmaicha sharp but localized. Not stabbing. I can only feel it when I breathe in too hard. I cannot feel it when I inhale with my stomach muscles. That's why I'm not concerned that it's lung related.
@genmaicha urgent care is very very expensive. Also no I don't believe it's serious. It really feels like a pulled muscle or something happened to the cartilage, neither of which they can do anything about.
@a7 that's always how it goes. They make some machine go brrrr for 3 seconds, tell you results are inconclusive and charge you the price of several cars to say "take Advil"
@deprecated_ii I have no idea what this is either. It's not an injury but it's clearly localized and not something like a blood clot either. The only result I got that sounds similar is some kind of cartilage infection that happens in children and old women and sounds very silly.
@deprecated_ii no actually. It only hurts when I over-extend by breathing too deep which is supposed to the the sign of a blood clot but I don't have any other symptoms and the pain doesn't extend anywhere. It just feels like a bruise.
