@Tamamo Sony PlayStation, too. I think there are a ton of factors contributing to how safe and censorious JP devs choose to be, but yeah, they definitely killed their own creativity. Japan is lagging behind now as their corporate culture self-immolates, yet they're all too stubborn to change and adapt. Or at least, they're adapting incorrectly, like as they eat up the poison that comes from Commiefornia and ESG. Meanwhile Korea and China start to take more of the metaphorical pie, even in manga. In terms of PNG collectors, Japan's is not as risque as Azur Lane and Last Origin due to all the censorship happiness.
A shame, but... this is the opportunity for some Japanese devs to strike out AGAINST the grain of their own country and win it big and put Japan back on the market... if they have the balls to. Otherwise, I think eventually Korea and China will take over the eastern entertainment market. @Meemoo
