That's natural - democratic societies only flourished starting in the 1700s/1800s, and it is currently 2024. If you're picking the most successful few examples, then there is not going to be a democratic society today which can stand up to that - not enough time has elapsed. Meanwhile, there's been a very large number of monarchies and republics over the course of history - it is only natural that a few of them would last for some time.
That just proves my point of republic and monarchy being better system than democracy. No one was stupid enough to implement democracy at that time. The decay that happened to democracy happens faster than if the same thing were to occur in noble republic or monarchy.
