@icedquinn this is basically gonna be an open-world game with no goal I think. if you know anything good about procedural map generation please let me know.
@Moon i particularly like WFC because it cooperates with hand features. you can use other algorithms or handmade data to seed it, and let it finish the rest. it's both very effective and ineffective, just depends on how hard of constraints you give. (it doesn't have any intelligence to it, so conflicts just fail and require backtrack or restarts, compared to a more intelligent solution, but it gets a lot of mileage in the right places despite being something you can implement in 30 lines of code.)
