I don't know if you remember but the release of iOS 6 included Apple Maps in an attempt to take on Google Maps and it was so poorly developed it would tell people to take left hand turns off a bridge onto a highway below, take people down dirt roads hundreds of miles off course. I hope this isn't real but google tells me it is. God help everyone who buys product

@graf @alex 2019, Tokyo, Google Maps told me to turn off a raised highway to an underground highway.

@graf @alex Nissan's navigation was actually pretty nice, apart from locking out most of the controls while moving (I had a navigator in the passenger seat, the car damn well knew since it had sensors to trigger seatbelt alarms etc.)

@birdulon @alex Ford's SYNC does this too. you can't connect a phone via Bluetooth if the vehicle is in motion it's so stupid
