@jamie Sounds familiar. In my case it's mostly fan noise, when it's not the XPlus-3's shitty motor resonances at low speeds.

@koz i wonder how much people have tried to fix that. there are some techniques like blade shapes, or bigger blades, or even going full ham with metamaterials https://www.bu.edu/articles/2019/making-the-world-a-lot-quieter/

@jamie peltor makes some lovely hearing protection. i tried a procase last year but it was just too small for comfort.
