That guide seems to mention a reddit and a discord perhaps one of those will have someone more informed on newer iPhones without trying to scam you.
But also what feature are you missing from a jailbreak? You lose a bunch of security stuff when you jailbreak so unless you absolutely need it, it'll be a pain. And, sorry if this sounds like classism or smth but if you just wanna "play around" with jailbreaking probably get a cheaper older iphone not your main, but feel free to disagree with this one
