@wgiwf@Groomschild beautiful beasts and im glad so many air forces saw the potential still remaining in them and upgraded them in various different ways.
@ferrarilegends@wgiwf@Groomschild The F4 Phantom may have been a tough bird to handle but it so aesthetically pleasing. My two favourite Jets were probably Hawker Hunter and the Panavia Tornado I also like the old Mig 15 and F 86 Sabre they are very kino
@ferrarilegends@wgiwf@Groomschild Very sad that Globalism killed the British Aircraft industry it was a world leader and we supplied a lot our your part of the with aircraft for many years. I saw a Hunter and a Vulcan at air show once they were so kino
@Dan_Hulson@wgiwf@Groomschild yep, and the aftermath of the Comet quickened the death of the commercial side of british aviation (even though british aircraft manufacturers produced great planes like the Viscount).
@ferrarilegends@wgiwf@Groomschild Another plane that just sets me off is the Ilyushin Il 76 most cold war planes and tech had a certain aesthetic you just don't see anymore everything these days just looks too sleek
