@creamqueen imagine you're making tryhard edgy emo album 420
and this is a song on it, something that sounds like it's from a bad minecraft parody song youtuber
@MercurialBlack dont fedpost at all man im sure its okay to joke about you know cia niggers and all but do not actually post something that can be taken as a tangible threat
@creamqueen@kirby if i had to guess it's probably that they can figure out the region you're in by post history and canvas ISPs to see who's connecting to this website from that area (assuming you don't VPN of course)
@phnt@creamqueen damn i bet they got a copy of the disk image cyberia runs on, that seems like the only reasonable course of action thats not bugging the vps without the knowledge of the vps operator.
@kirby @creamqueen got doxxed by the license plate probably. That's the easiest path they could have taken. But they now probably have eyes on Cyberia as a whole.
@kirby@creamqueen all it would take is to set up a :glowing: instance and watch the web server logs. If your instance doesn't have media proxy enabled, the user will directly fetch media from the :glowing: instance and have their IP logged in the :glowinthedark: web server logs.
@creamqueen i had a friend in college who once hung a giant banner of this phil fish tweet in a public area and he got interrogated by college security for 6 hours straight for it
i hope you will not be afraid to be funny like he is now
@pwm yea i fedposted way too hard gonna tone down my online presence. the real faggy thing they did was said if something happens again theyll tell my employer that i say the nig word online, it was pretty surreal hearing the 'clubcyberia' said out loud in person though
