@Tepid_Tapir what about a cat that only goes outside in a suburban area during the day and is nurtured?
He also knows to look for cars in the street, knows to stay away from moving cars, and knows to get out from under a car if it cranks or if people get inside. He doesn't go out into the street, doesn't go all that far really, and always wears a GPS tracker when he's out.
