Like pokemon mystery dungeon?
There's a pokemon TTRPG already, it's infamously bad. The section for making the trainer, just the trainer alone, is larger than most ttrpgs entire corebooks. Very, very long and rambly, insanely overcomplicated nonsense. Literally everyone I've ever talked to who played it said that it's best to just ignore over half of the rules and mechanics.
