Seeing a lot of anti-trans backlash in my feed.
It's an understandable response to wokeists raising up the transgender demographic like they're some sort of sacred calf. They've taken a lifestyle choice and turned it into a religious icon in their war on culture.
But: When ridiculing the ridiculous, please note the distinction between trans activists and trans LUTFAs.
All of the idiotic and culture-destroying bullshit, all of the woke DEI policies, the byzantine rules and laws about pronouns - everything that makes big news - comes from the activists. They deserve the firehose of your scorn. Please, open the taps.
Just remember that most people (transgender included) are not activists. They want no involvement in this cultural jihad being pursued by the commies and marxists. They just want to live their lives outside the limelight. Sound familiar?
No matter how much you disapprove of their appearance, or disagree with their life choices, at the end of the day, remember they're still people. At least give them the respect for that.
In other words: don't be the bigot that the activists claim you are.
@ryan Until the non-activist trans/gay/other's stand up and publicly reject and repudiate the crazed and evil activists, it has to be assumed they, at the very least, passively enjoy the benefits that accrue to them from the actions of said activists. If people like you do evil in your name, and you do not loudly reject them, it has to be assumed you quietly agree with them, meaning you share in their guilt.

The whole concept of "trans rights" is activist.
There is no vag-check at the entrance of a women's bathroom, so every sufficiently passing troon can and always could use it without a problem.
Trans activists demand that everyone else throws away his instinct, gut feeling and rational thinking in order to accept their twisted "reality".
So I have two restrooms in my office. One used to be the men's, the other the women's. They're both required to be unisex now. Nonetheless, everyone seems to instinctively know which is which and use the restroom corresponding to their sex (They're identically decorated, etc. This seems to be pure instinct).
So one time, this very tall Asian "woman" in a very nice dress came in for a consult. We couldn't tell if it was a man or a woman. Borderline passable, but overdressed (another clue that it wasn't a woman).
So any way, at the end of the consult, "she" asked to use the restroom. I said, "sure.... They're back there." Guess which restroom "she" used. 😏
