@caekislove@Paultron@Groomschild@professionalbigot69 a trip to McDonald’s went from dirt cheap to $30 here over the course of Covid/biden era and minimum wage didnt change nor did the wagies wages go up by a significant amount. I think min wage as a factor is overstated. it’s mostly that immigration and globalism broadly has created a system where the plutocrats don’t need to pay anyone middle class wages anymore for any job so shit jobs for retards, hard jobs that should get decent pay, and even fake make work jobs all have been pushed into the same pay category: not enough to get out of debt and make something of yourself. And that status quo doesn’t make any sense, but any attempt to fix only one part of it (which is what raising minimum wage is) can’t help it just makes things even more of a mess.
