Is there a simple text editor like vscode that I can also paste images into?
Just for note taking. I like the markdown highlighting, but I need images to be directly displayed in the next.

Word is awful with all those forced automatic formatting.

@inertia CherryTree. Can also link folders, files or sites as long as its a rich text node. It also has plain text and syntax highlighted nodes, which you can compile code within it if you provide compilers for it or use the built-in terminal. Its kinda strange for a note taking text editor.

@WapaMario63 @inertia I use cherry tree sometimes but tbh it's pretty clunky. No markdown either. It does support inline images though.
