Darjeeling is an interesting girl. Among the girls of GuP, she is not mentioned often in our side of the Fediverse, unlike Erika, Anchovy, and Yukari. And yet, Darjeeling managed to enter the sweet sixteen who automatically entered the tournament, while Yukari and Anchovy had to fight in the Royal Rumble and Erika did not enter the tournament at all. That shows the power of a few users who knows how to legitimately game the game and do whatever is permissible to win. Can that same spirit help her against a fan favorite?
Darjeeling is the commander of the St. Gloriana Girls College's sensha-do team. Embracing her inner Brit, she remains calm and collected, even in the most tense of tank battles, inspiring her team mates . She loves tea and is often seen drinking tea even during sensha-do matches. Graceful and kind, she hopes that her disadvantage and be turned around for this match.
** RR 18. Tsumugi Kotobuki / K-On! **
We finally reached the first winner of the Royal Rumble. Tsumugi is special and not just for winning the first Royal Rumble round. She ties Tatsumaki and Nanzuna for the most votes throughout the Rumble. She is also the official mascot for the Mugicha Club instance, where the tourney is officially host.
Tsumugi is a lively and dorky girl and keyboardist of the Houkago Tea Time band. She and her friends go through high school experiencing many soft adventures.
What a match! During the night, both girls have continued going back and forth without either finding a large enough gap to say they have a proper lead. Tomorrow will be very exciting.

MATCH #9: 2. TOMOKO KUROKI VS. 31. HITORI "BOCCHI" GOTOU
Rest in peace, Nagatoro-san! After the Bully got bullied by the fluffy tail, we continue with the banger matches with one that tries to answer the simple question: Which girl is the most "She's literally me for real, for real"? In one corner, we have a popular "unpopular fujoshi". In the other corner, we have a popular "unpopular paramecium". Which will literally be you? Vote! Vote! Vote!
Before Hitori Bocchi and Gotou Hitori Bocchi, before Ryan Goesling memes, before Trump, there was Tomoko Kuroki and her series Watamote!
Tomoko, at least for the first half of the manga series and all of the anime, represented the . A fujoshi in the fullest sense, except for the yoai fan part, Tomoko spends her life in her head, living many perverted fantasies and the otaku life while trying to ease into anybody's circle at her school. With such a life, 4chan (before it turned into Cuckchan) anons, and by extension the internet, quickly latched onto her as their mascot for losers like them.
Tomoko has apparently become less like a fujoshi and more popular in-world as the series progressed, disappointing many fans, but that has not changed her initial popularity
** WC 31. Hitori "Bocchi" Gotou / Bocchi the Rock **
Bocchi the Rock may have lost against K-On!, but the Bocchi the girl certainly did not lose in the heart of her supporters. She still got in the tournament as a wild card, yet as we have seen, wild cards can do massive damage to high seeders. With her show airing in recent memory and being one of the rare "better than the manga/LN" shows, there is high expectations for the Rock.
Bocchi hates social interaction. Besides her family, everyone seems like a monster out to get her. Yet she manages to have so many talents despite this crippling . She's beautiful. She's a proficient musician and master guitarist. Her family adores her and she her family. With these talents, she forms a relationship with three girls from a high school band. From there she began the arduous and epic journey to overcome her crippling social anxiety, a greater journey than any national epic or high fantasy.
More support for the fluffy tail has come pouring in since four hours ago. Everybody on the Fedi needs the mofu mofu and sweet pampering. Still, counter-support for Nagatoro has also come, but nothing that could surmount that cute Kitsune.
We shall see how much more support both girls get tomorrow, but until then,

Wew! WEW! Who could have expected this? There was some bias for Senko before this match, but no one expected her to crush Nagatoro this much this quickly. A few souls, led by Jimmy Carter's official Fediverse ambassador, dared to fight against the fluffy tail tide for the love bully's sake, a noble fight, but that will probably do little.

MATCH #8: 12. SENKO VS. 21. HAYASE NAGATORO
Lina Inverse the Sourceress won in another upset over the weekend. The match however was a bit of a snoozer as not many Fedi friends participated. Today, we have a match that should rectify that malady of sluggishness.
We have the lovable bully and winner of the final Royal Rumble match versus a lovable and helpful fox.

** 12. Senko / The Helpful Fox Senko-san **
Wouldn't the whole world improve if everyman could have a kitsune goddess mommy-wife loli? That's the question the series The Helpful Fox Senko-san tries to answer.
Senko, the titular kitsune goddess, appears suddenly one day to the overworked, over-stressed, under-payed, and under-loved salaryman Nanako to bring joy to his life. From the day they meet, Senko pampers Nanako with everything from good homecooked meals, a clean house, and best of all, fluffing that super soft mofu mofu tail of hers. Nanako's life became more fulfilling and happier simple from one fox girl giving more love than one-septillionth most modern woman are willing to give
Could a god-tier girl come from such a simple wish-fulfillment? Yes, yes she can.
** RR 21. Hayase Nagatoro / Don't Toy with Me, Nagatoro-san **
Nagatoro is one lucky girl. In the final battle of the Royal Rumble, she faced three tough opponents, one who would supposedly take down a tourney favorite. Still, Nagatoro pull through and one by a large margin, showing the other girls who the boss of this dork dormitory. Can that luck defeat of lovely fox goddess though?
Have the ahem interesting description by Fedi's number one fan of the 39th President:

Through out the evening Lina continued to rock it with support, with Yuki only gaining a pity vote or two. But after that, things became quiet, whether from the line-up being uninteresting or some not liking the host and how he does things or people forgetting a tourney is going on.

Shield Hero has always been a mixed bag among anime fans, with many believing the quality has decreased as the series goes on. The sole bright spot of the series, however, is the raccoon girl and eventual lover of the protagonist.

** RR 20. Rally Vincent / Gunsmith Cats **
The Fediverse went to town with the brown during the tomboy match. Not only is Rally cute, . It was no wonder she easily won against the other tomboys. But can brown tomboys beat fluffy tails?

Throughout the evening, night, and early morning, Yor continued to distance her lead from Wiz, who only managed to snag a single vote, bringing Yor's lead to nine votes.
Wiz-bros need to wake up and start pushing hard for their girl and drag people in to vote for her if they hope to see a victory against the Thorn Princess.

We enjoyed a pleasant snoozer over the weekend. The Tornado of Terror thoroughly crushed her opponent with the same ease she does for enemies in One Punch Man. We perhaps have another sleeper. Fighting for the right to move, we have the long time memer and meme-sensation, Konata Izumi versus the Ghiblian princess, Nausicaä.
** 8. Konata Izumi / Lucky Star **
Ah! Lucky Star! Both famous and infamous among internet denizens for establishing classic anime memes, promoting a positive image of otakuism, pushing the moe aesthetic, and setting the final line between the old school anime industry and modern.
Konata is the long and blue haired heroine of the show, and with her quartet of friends, Kagami, Miyuki, and Tsukasa she survives Millennial Japanese high school all while indulging her hobbies of anime and video games, hobbies inhereited from her otaku and lolicon father. Ever mischeivous, Konata loves a good tease and loves to prank her friends. She may not be brightest or hardest working student, but she has street smarts and charm to help her get by. If you like the down-to-earth otaku girl, vote for Konata.
** RR 25. Nausicaä / Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind **
Nausicaä did relatively well during the Royal Rumble match, shining brightly against a formidable weaponized android and a boobacious battle idol. While Nausicaä may not have meme status, she does have nobility to her character having come from the prestigious
"We have the sole representative from Studio Ghibli and perhaps the best. Nausicaä is the sole princess of the Valley who loves and finds that the world is attacking humanity with miasma for failing to be proper national socialist and genuine and non-gay ethno-enviromentalists.
Nausicaä has it all being trained in the royal arts, naturalist studies, and combat. She even has psychic powers, with some basic telepathy and the ability to communicate with plants. With her power, she takes on the Torumekian Empire and Dorok Principalities to stop the destruction of her home. She wishes for all NatSoc enviromentalists to vote for her to help her succeed."
With the post-holiday weekdays, change in voting system, and match line-up, voting has been lackluster so far.
We can still glean from what we have. Both Millennials and Zoomers remember Konata and Lucky Star fondly, while not many have watched Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind. Those who have, especially the older among Fedi users, prefer the warrior-princess to the textbook definition of Moe-blob. Still, most find Konata more compelling. How this will play out, and whether we will reach past seventy-five votes, remains to be seen.
The new voting system seems to work well. So far, nobody has tried to cheat. Vote count still remains low. Whether that's just from the sum total of circumstances, or egregious cheating egregiously inflated other vote totals, we have to wait and see. Let me know what you think and if you have any suggestions, especially for get people to vote and have fun.
As for the match itself, Konata had a stream of support in the early evening, which dismayed fans of the anime natsoc Führein; and yet, the spiritual mana of the Führein's supporters managed to bring a group of voters in the late evening as we close for the night. A six vote difference will be easy to grasp if Nausicaä's team can muster in the votes.

What a first match! We are not half-way in yet, and yet we have our first major upset, with the lowest seeded girl, who only got in at a hair's breadth, beating the highest seeded, and highest nominated girl. What an absolutely disaster! Will we see more of this? Who know, but you all simply must stay tuned.

** 16. Lain Iwakura / Serial Experiments Lain **
We introduce today the lowest seeded of the Sweet Sixteen girls, though from the performance of yesterday's match, it seems like seeds do not reveal much. Even now, within the fediverse, Lain's memetic power holds sway over We shall see if the cult classic status of both the show and can overcome petite and powerful girl lovers.
Lain is a bit of an enigma. She is not a human girl within her universe; in fact, she is not tangible except inside the world of memes known as the Wired or when possessing a separate, kuudere Japanese girl known as Lain. Lain is able to tap into the power of collective unconscious and shape herself ever so slightly in each individual's mind. With such power, she can shape the worldviews and mental narratives of every individual.

Tatsumaki crushed her opponents during the Royal Rumble, earning her a three-way tie for the most votes in a match. She earned the highest proportion of votes compared to the total, and . We shall see today if that power holds up or if Tatsumaki's victory was merely a fluke.
