@graf @scatPolice A few deep breaths can help, especially if it's stress. When that kind of stuff used to start it would just make me immediately stressed, which just made it worse.

@Darren I also don't know why people are mad at Adam. It wasn't my intent for Adam to be portrayed as some kind of comic book villain, it's silly.

So that it is clear, it was me who made the decision. The issue was clear and stated in public, so I just took the only viable course of action to resolve the problem. I anticipated that people would click my profile, scroll back, see the immediately preceding conversation, and have context. In hindsight, I could have been more explicit about it.

Unless I'm mistaken, the "these are not our people" sentiment was in reference to people posting vile, hateful, racist, anti-Semitic types of things.

@graf @CSB Thank you for the information, so many settings. Is there anything else I should be aware of, or are most things ready out of the box?

One question I have is can I have a "private mention" column like Mastodon has? That can be useful.

So far, the service has been excellent!
