Kind of irritating they couldn't get O'Brien, the greatest hero of Federation history, into it somehow tho.

Also everything about him being an asshole went right out the window when he meant Geordi LaForge, one of the greatest engineers in Starfleet history. I hope the Star Trek novel writers pick him up or he shows up in Lower Decks for whatever reason. (I actually like Lower Decks and I think SNW is pretty good too.)

Starfleet does not do DEI; most starships are Human for a reason. They call it a "homo sapiens only club" for a reason and that is that Humans are superior.

I love JPop however. (Kpop isn't that interesting since it sounds like they're singing with an American accent and not Korean. Most Jpop sounds Japanese except for Utada Hikaru.)
