We’ve had leap years forever now, but it feels like every leap year some automated system just breaks.

Apparently, some payment systems broke this leap year. And my wife and I had 2 instances of online scheduling systems just, not understanding what a leap year was.

So, I kind of spoke about me making a big purchase briefly, but it finally got here, so Imma talk about it.

I bought a Bambulab P1S 3D Printer. This is the 3rd 3D Printer I have purchased and the 1st with WiFi connectivity (optional thank god)

So, we set up the printer and the first thing it wants me to do is install an app. I skipped, thinking I might do it later, and continued the setup offline.

Today I was thinking about possibly installing said app, but, like I always do when installing an app to my phone, I took a good look at the permissions of said app.

This app, like many invasive apps that people will gladly put onto their primary devices without even looking, had insane amounts of permissions and trackers in it.

Needless to say, I will be using the printer offline, like I have done with every 3D Printer before it and intend to do with every 3D printer after it.

We got pizza last night. Had a little slumber party in the living room.

The toppings were: Meatballs, Anchovies, Mushrooms, Green Peppers, Jalapeños, Brown Onions, Alfredo Sauce, Creamy Pesto Sauce, Spinach, Basil and Extra Cheese.

    I was just going to get something fun and cool. I had everything mapped out perfectly to where I could make an expensive purchase. It would work out to where we’d have enough left over for essentials and then decent chunk extra. It was all perfect.

    Until state taxes fucked me and absolutely ruined everything! I did not expect state taxes to be so much for this particular purchase, but I’m also not surprised they were.

    Now I gotta wait until the next pay period.
