Can anyone explain why the top of the cube is slightly darker than the ground plane? The surfaces have the exact same normal after all.
I guess it's because the cube top is smaller and thus accumulates less bounce light??
@RustyCrab That's actually a very based take. You see, if you die in the matrix you die IRL. If you get out, a robot will hug you. But his arms are made of tentacles with sharp edges. Death is inescapable.
The only choice you have is between your normal live as boring, talking crab. Or a really cool underground rave.
That is the true message of the Matrix! Choices are meaningless.
