does anybody have recommendations on protein powders? I just want two things:

  1. not contaminated with heavy metals
  2. not filled with artificial sweeteners AND PREFERABLY no or little sugar either

@RustyCrab just pure whey concentrate? most brands are gonna be fine, ive used the naked stuff but idk man do your own research.
as for "no sugar" thats complicated. whey concentrate is gonna have lactose in it, thats just how things are. i do hope youre taking it with carbs and fats, otherwise your body wont digest it and you will have terrible shits.

as for my experience, ive had inconsistent tasting batches of whey in the past and got pea protein powder to get some stability in my life, but that stuff tasted even worse. i gave up on teinmaxxxxing and now just drink a lot of milk and eat more lean meats.

@sun @icedquinn @realcaseyrollins @vriska i think its important to acknowledge punisher and dredd and etc only work as antiheros when the audience agrees killing=bad. we have a massive population of those who arent phased by a protagonist killing bad guys, and instead see it as a power fantasy. the concept has completely broken down since it relies on the audience's perception.

@hj @triodug @vriska They did call them doom-clones when the games just cloned doom. It's a derogatory term that implies the game offers nothing that isn't already in doom. Once the FPS genre diversified the genre became more generic (hey those words are similar isn't that crazy its almost like genre means generic which means not specific to one thing).
Souls-likes, Thief-likes, and DMC-likes never diversified. They made clones and sequels and derivatives but always felt identical to their core entry. Doom 2016 took from hundreds of other games that released in the 20 years since Doom 2 and made a unique FPS out of it. Dishonored just made Thief out of Bioshock, which was already a watered down System Shock 2.
