But with good faith bipartisan negotiated border concessions it still disn’t pass, sounds like he’s full of shit and looking for an excuse.
Meanwhile, allied and friendly nations move away from the US, Russia and China are emboldened to move against US interests, and US foreign policy is hobbled for several years…
Well yeah, but we already pretty much knew that, and Musk is just skating by on a technicality. The Starlink terminals were registered in (If I remember right) Dubai, which would be where they were sold. It would be very easy for Musk to sell to someone in Dubai, and that someone then sells to Russia. Whether Musk knew or not, he technically didn’t sell anything to Russia. That doesn’t mean he isn’t complicit in the Russians using Starlink.
We know Musk can absolutely choose to shut down service to a region, and probably to specific terminals. He’s done it before ahead of major Ukrainian offensives because he “didn’t want to be complicit in major acts of war.” The fact that he hasn’t shut down the Russian terminals just further demonstrates his real priorities.
Elon Musk should be treated the same way we would treat anyone who collaborates with an openly hostile foreign power.
I have a real hard time feeling sorry for that woman in the article, who supposedly has lost her husband. He willingly signed up to go kill other peoples’ husbands, wives, sons, and daughters. Dispicable
Nah, this is pro Ukraine, pro war industry (and pro Biden?) propaganda. Why would they fight NATO and more importantly with what means when they can barely manage to hold line in Ukraine.
