@sneeden oh, so fedora with ubuntu-style third party stuff enabled. Yeah that's the one area where fedora has sucked so far. It's not a huge problem if you know what you're doing but it keeps me from recommending it over ubuntu to starters.
Still I'm not sure I'd trust a third party group like that. It would be way better to just distribute that as a script to enable third party stuff or something.
Eh I kinda don't blame him but the bonus of learning how to identify what went wrong means you can fix it in the future. Then it does just werk. I definitely wouldn't suggest Arch to someone who doesn't want to troubleshoot though. Just use ubuntu at that rate.
