@Will2Power@jeffcliff apparently according to the globe and mail (major canadian newspaper) investigation, more than 100k of these indians they imported aren't even enrolled in universities canada accredited institutions its crazy

@PunishedD@jeffcliff I wish you could see with your own eyes what they've done to my country. you cant go anywhere in some places in Southern Ontario where you aren't the only white person. hop on a train or street car its literally full standing room only just like Bangladesh. they dont bother to learn the language or traditions or anything. they cheat on everything (as evidenced by the conestoga subreddit that now has many full-time mods) and have caused the biggest housing crisis my home region has ever seen. in 3 years rent has gone from 1200 for a 2 bedroom to 1600 for a 1 bedroom, 800$ for a single fucking bedroom with notices "THIS IS FOR ONE PERSON ONLY"
@coldacid@jeffcliff I was just talking to my girlfriend about this and she was like "so it was all thanks to reddit" and it made me laugh but also think -- the reason the country is now doing something 3 YEARS LATER is because one student made a post on the conestoga subreddit asking how to get an under-the-table job so they didnt have to pay taxes to canada. if it wasn't for that one reddit post this would probably stlil be going on unabated but because of it the eyes of the world were on that subreddit and also on the region. so im glad
