it's this post-ironic, dead-inside trash millennial writing style where they have to either make fun of everything or be utterly unphased by it because doing anything else makes them feel exposed and vulnerable. except even that mindset may require more self awareness than these writers have

I think the autistic version of physiognomy was debunked. The one were you take out a measuring device and measure the distance between certain points on the face to tell how intelligent the subject is.
Once again autists took a simple thing: "judging people by how they look" and utterly ruined it by trying to measure everything
