Fediverse? I guess your server is part of that."
At the time I think DRC was speculating it was Alex Linder posting on a DRC alt but yeah this was a thing back in during the summer of 2023 I think? Could be wrong on the timeline.
i remember a couple of times people were getting banned for actual fedposting ... it was really obvious at the time ... but it got handled pretty quick so idk ... but as u know the feds will throw down evidence and try to entrap in some bullshit
Yeah, you could ask Matty about it after that a bunch of admins started changing their instances to invite only signups because no one wanted to attract another fedposter I'm pretty sure NCD was one of those as well. Unless I'm mistaking one fedposting incident for another.
