Huh, Uber has launched “UberX Share” (what a clunky name).
Turns out they just renamed UberPool.
UberPool is where you and other passengers pool a service vehicle together, where each of you get off at different, fixed set-down points along the way.
Imagine if we had an UberX Share vehicle that could hold more than 4 passengers to make it more cost-effective per driver…
@yassie_j did u know this was launched in response to Lyft's new offering, where would be passengers can book a ride by waiting at a designated spot, where a vehicle drives a particular route, and they can get down at any designated point along the route
