@Kerosene@sampo that's why I have a dry herb vape. I can go around blazed and get high on my couch without the issue of smell. I vape weed in my apartment every day and it doesn't smell like weed. Also vaping weed just smells like fresh weed. I'm not a huge fan of the smell of burning weed.
@tomey@Kerosene@sampo vaping is also just a lot more efficient
But yeah smoking weed doesn't cause cancer but breathing smoke still causes heart and lung issues.
It's also just a lot cleaner high. The high feels cleaner like it's not dirty. Not sure how else to describe it.
@sjw@Kerosene@sampo I had an arizer solo before, which I broke by dropping it on the pavement, whoops. Now I have the arizer Argo and a POTV One. I kind of want a big desktop vape, but don't really have space for one right now.
I think @guizzy is also into botanical vapes and has a few different kinds.
I don't care about all the fancy shit. That's part of the reason I don't have a volcano.
There are a couple reasons I vape:
mg per mg flower is the cheapest way to acquire the active ingredients
Vaping flower is cheaper than vaping carts
Vapour from PG/VG is heaver than air so some of it can collect and get suck in your lungs which probably isn't good for your lungs while vapour from a dry herb vape is slightly lighter than air so it'll naturally empty out of your lungs
No risk of residual solvents when vaping flower
I don't really like the taste or smell of burning weed
I don't want to go around everywhere smelling like I just smoked a fat joint
I don't want my apartment or belongings to smell like weed
I don't want to go outside to use weed
I usually don't enjoy edibles all that much these days
A pourover you have control of where the water lands on the grounds, so you can get a more even brew. That's what the funky kettle is for - to give you that control.
sjw my brother in christ
that is exactly what the pourover is
you pour the water on the grounds to make the coffee extracted from the grounds more even
@sampo I'm going on a year of sobriety with alcohol. After trying weed alcohol just kind of sucks in comparison. Weed is so much better than alcohol that it made me lose all interest in alcohol.
That being said I was never a huge fan of alcohol to begin with. It was just what was available.
@sampo@thendrix well there are a few companies trying to make big weed happen. Good Day (their CEO used to be the CEO of Walmart), Trulieve, :amazon:, and Monsanto all want to be part of the oligopoly.
I don’t imbibe, but hopefully we’ll be able to sell homemade suppressors from road side fruit stands – in my life time – to honor the founders of this nation.
