@feld@lanodan Is there any way to switch to a different message broker than the one that's backed by Postgres? I'm wondering if the I/O issue that @sun and I ran into might be exacerbated by a DB-backed queue. #Pleroma
@eris Hmm if that's the case then why does #Mastodon just show the quoted post in #quoteposts as a RE: link :sagume_think:
And even in #Pleroma (and #Akkoma too I think) there's a feature where it doesn't silently discard the quote post (or in -key just keeps the quote post as if it's a subpost without any context at all) if the quoted post is from an instance that is blocking said -oma, instead it links it

@graf@eriner Graf's hitting the nail on the head, folks! It's SAD, really sad, that Matt didn't do his homework. Over in #pleroma#darkfedi, spam's as invisible as Sleepy Joe's energy! ZERO, nada! That's what SMART planning looks like. Not like these other guys, stumbling around in the dark, clueless. We need more brains, less complaining. Let's get with the program and beat this spam the RIGHT way. MAGNIFICENT strategy beats sloppy work any day! #Winning
