so it was a lie, i received the laptop and 30 min later i returned it because it has 8gb of lpddr5 ram, not upgradable at all despite what their tech guy and the website said.
@mischievoustomato You can't even get 8 GD DDR5 SODIMM modules at retail. They're really out to fuck you over if they have chips low binned enough to only get 8 GB out of them, fuck them.
@PurpCat More traditional colours would be better. "She" looks to be wearing latex gloves with the white fur. And the black fur stretching from the ears to the face looks bad.
It used to be when I talked into a specialty shop they would have a lot of brands that walmart or target didn't. Now it seems like it's simply a slice of target with no different stock than what they have.
They have slightly more selection but it's just adding shittier brands than what target offers.

@PurpCat@Terry Might be fun to get one at those prices if you can hack them. But I've been out of the Switch homebrew scene for a year or so, and last I've heard, the slims and post 2019 models can't be hacked due to the GPU revision.
