I think one thing that's fucking me up at work recently (past while I guess) is that there is no 'finish line' for the work I'm doing. It just goes on forever and since management is so shitty there's barely any communication of what's actually needed by when. As a result, whatever I'm working towards just feels hopeless and I end up feeling like I might as well just dick around. It creates this shitty half working state where I'm not enjoying life but also not getting anything done.

I think what I need to do is just ignore working hours and plan tasks out at the start of the week and when I get done with the allotment for the day just stop and don't worry about trying to fill the remaining time.

Recently I've gained some positive motivation to actually improve things in my life again.

I know it's a stupid idea that would never work but I legitimately wonder if it would be possible to sue google for intentially wasting the time of the entire world. The amount of economic damage they've caused by obfuscating answers to questions that used to be quickly available is incalculable.

@RustyCrab There is a less advanced AI that will show up with google searches idk if it uses Gemini or not. i don't think so since it came out before Gemini. Kagi's is better because it actually cites sources and so far it hasn't made up info yet which is a huge problem with programming questions.
