Airspace is controlled by the FAA. It would be very difficult to enforce airspace restrictions against the federal government.

They founded OpenAI as a non-profit, concentrated on startup development, piped the resulting unpublished products into a for-profit sub-organization, then sold the developed product to another for-profit corporation.

If this is allowed, then anyone could startup a non-profit for development purposes, and operate development within a tax-friendly environment. Once development has matured, simply spin the developed product into a for-profit.

It seems as-if there are a lot of regulations that would have had to have been bent and completely broken for this to have occurred.

Unless there is/was a misunderstanding, a conversion from non-profit to for-profit has not been made by OpenAI. They appear to be funneling developed IP from the non-profit into a for-profit subsidiary.

If that were to pass judicial scrutiny, then only a fool would ever fund product development (of any kind) outside of a non-profit ever again.

It doesn't appear as-if he's asking for a monetary judgement. It looks as though he's requesting that they honor the open-source commitment. To be clear, I'm not saying that Musk doesn't have ulterior motives.

It'll likely result in a more refined attorney caste system. The system already exists to address this issue, for the most part.

I actually do have a couple black friends in my life that are really cool people and are smart and level headed. I really like the guys, but at the same time, 100% I agree with the fact that the majority are a violent menace, I don't trust them and I agree with you guys too.

So it feels kind of like a paradox.

I generally don't trust people at all and am a very guarded and paranoid person IRL. But I give everyone a fair shake, and if I get to know you over time and your a cool person that has it together, does awesome things, then yeah, I don't care what you look like.

You probably think you know them... you don't. Until you've seen them behave in an environment of their own people, you don't know them at all. They'll speak in a different manner, act different, and behave different. Most don't understand primal behavior modes, because they've never witnessed it for themselves.

The people you're describing are probably just fine while they're in a comfortable, White environment. Casually ask them how they'd feel about making a trip with you to the South Side of Chicago, Detroit, Atlanta, or perhaps Baltimore. Ask to get a haircut in a home. Make it someplace close that you both know. Notice the initial body language and initial pause... they'll probably ask why you'd ask such a question.

Don't relax.

Your argument is solid. However, congress has a poor record of respecting the bounds set by the bill of rights. There are no penalties for passing a bad bill. In addition to that, the judicial system doesn't exactly have a very good record of enforcing the bill of rights. The judicial system has been filled with activists from the top-down. They're always looking for an outlier-case to hang a decision on.
