@RustyCrab doesn't seem autistic to me. These methods exist for a good reason, it'd be a shame to disregard them. Letting bad habits just heap up will lead to them overwhelming you at some point, only creating more problems. Not taking control back just sends you further down the spiral.
Glad that it's working out for you! I sometimes feel like that with all the technology around us we've forgotten the power of just righting stuff down.

I don't even like the taste of fries anymore, stopped doing keto about a year ago

do you ever draw branching flow charts of life "what if" scenarios to try to plan or is it all just too overwhelming and unpredictable?

@RustyCrab used to think a lot about what-ifs but it lost its charm some time ago. Things is that one loses oneself in inaction when thinking too long about possible outcomes while the real outcome only happens when acting. And at that point all the what-ifs become irrelevant

@RustyCrab in that case I'd wager it's absolutely necessary to think about it, and making a chart or mindmap can help greatly with making an informed decision. You gotta know when to stop branching though, and as stated before, once you've acted all those branches become nil.
It surely beats blindly picking something and forcing yourself to stick with it, at least for me. Knowing that i made a conscious, well thought out decision keeps me going on the paths that i set for myself
