The overwhelming majority of 'advice' to young men from the right comes off as out of touch, condescending and exploitative, even from those who genuinely have your best interests in mind- everything is presented from a framework of how to 'improve yourself' so society, women, corporations, political orgs, ect. can exploit as much utility from you as efficiently as possible.

Texas national guard put barbed wire and fences around a part of the border, Federal border patrol told them to remove it, so Texas blocked Federal border patrol from entering that area. Feds seethed and sued. Courts said Feds have a right to take the barbed wire down. Texas just keeps adding more and told them to fuck off.

Could escalate if Feds start arresting or attempting to physically stop texas national guard and Texas arrests Fed officials in retaliation.

The sad thing is after Trump there's nobody. There's not a single politician out there that will ever come close to drawing the level of enthusiasm Trump can. In this void of nobodies and corporate suits Democrats will clean house, I expect Texas to go blue within this decade. Not that Trump is good or actually doing anything beyond making mean tweets, but the GOP would love nothing more than to get rid of Trump while somehow maintaining his base and voter enthusiasm with shitty 'moderate' policies.
