The US should just convert into a Confederate system at this rate.

@Bad_Banner I don't think anyone thought it'd take this long but here we are

@Kang_Kong3 At this point the US federal government is getting long in the tooth, very slow to react and respond to many dangers where as the states themselves (in some cases) are more agile.

I'd rather states confer with each other to deal with international issues than a single entity who basically runs amok now.

@Bad_Banner @Kang_Kong3 That was the system they set up 250 years ago. When it was only 13 states on a single continuous coast, they thought things were too big for the feds to handle everything.

Ironically the one thing they did want the feds to coordinate (national defense) is the thing the feds are currently refusing to do.

@PunishedD @Kang_Kong3 That is ironic. What's interesting to me is that the federal government blinked and aren't doing anything about what Texas (and now other stated joining in) is doing.

Tbh we need to wrestle back a lot of the power that was given to the federal govt anyway. People float a constitutional convention and each day seems more likely that it will happen....one day.

@Bad_Banner @PunishedD my instinctual reaction to the idea of a constitutional convention is "too little, too late".

@Kang_Kong3 @Bad_Banner Yeah, you can look at the split of states backing Texas right now and see the problem. You aren't going to get sufficient consensus on much.

MAYBE you could get all 50 to agree there's a border crisis, thanks to the illegals being dumped in big cities by Abbott/DeSantis. But you won't get them to agree on a structural solution, it's too politically charged. And having that crisis continue has been the explicit demographic plan of the left since Bush.

@Bad_Banner from an outsider's perspective it seems like the federal government acts purely out of spite and hatred towards the actual Americans and has done for as long as I can remember.
Unsure how much this is due to the actual malice of them themselves or the malice of their jewish paymasters. I think the age of the fossils in the legislature is also a governing factor of mental agility too but the slightly younger profile of UK and EU politicians doesn't really seem to improve the general level of block headed stupidity and arrogance tbf

@Kang_Kong3 Unless you're a lobbyist, corporate hack, non-profit bloodsucker, a partisan faggot, or a sleazy politician, no one really likes the federal government.
