@vriska Consistency is the absolute most important thing in a story. If you fuck that up you've fucked up the stakes, because lack of consistency means anything can happen. If you accidentally make a plot hole you better fucking patch it.

god what if I don't have a soul, or the only way for what it produces to be good is if it's augmented. Like, I don't understand how anyone can have the motivation to write if they don't constantly justify what they're doing right now with what they've done previously. Nor do I think caring less about consistency will produce something good.

@mischievoustomato@hidden@tiskaan@vriska I mean it's not super uncommon a phrase that physics/math is 'seeing the universe naked' and I had to work some kinda self-inflicted pain in there so the metaphor fell out of those restrictions
watched a video of university(!) students not knowing what 15*4 is, 23, 48, WTF??!? even 9yo me could tell you it's 45 and I'd spend less time thinking than they did. fucking american education innit
