okay so this isn't the full story, I just spent like another hour desperately trying to figure out why my timer refused to generate any interrupts when the code was started via the bootloader
well, you see, I wrote the code I'm woprking on now before I wrote the bootloader. Now that I have the bootloader, I'm coming back to it. I did a little thing in the bootloader before jumping to the application code to ensure nothing would mess up the process.
@cato Ah, a classic. On some STM32, the system ROM bootloader doesn't set the stack pointer back to what is in your application vector table, so your application has a stack overflow during boot.
I saw an ambulance on the road the other day that had its lights on continuously instead of flashing. It confused the heck out of me, I didn't even know that was possible!
There is a small chance that it was something else (it was dark and I only saw it passing by like hundred meters away), but the shape, hue and intensity of the light sure looked like an ambulance 🤔
@cato did that for small firefighter/police/emergency cars. Tbh I don't really remember, but somehow i thought they indeed had a single controller for rooftop, radiator grill etc.
Thinking about it, that doesn't seem sensible, agreed :)
I ordered acrylic plates in the hopes that I could have them today and take them to my bf to laser-cut. The shop sent the shipping confirmation on Wednesday evening, so I expected it to either already be handed over to DHL or get picked up on Thursday, so I would have it today, but it seems they only just now picked it up... why send the shipping confirmation so early then 🙃
Also, my old credit card, which was discontinued, has been in a weird limbo state for a few weeks now. I had an expense shortly before the cancellation date, but it only got booked after that date. Now my third-party banking app says the card is at zero while the official app says the card is deactivated but it says I have -72.69€ available. I hope they don't come around the corner with a demand note in a few months lmao
My new credit card has a cashback program and I absolutely hate how they implemented it. It subtracts the cashback directly from every expense, which fucks with my expenses tracking. When I buy something and pay with the card, I usually enter the expense right away, but then I look at the transactions and of course it actually cost less due to the cashback. I wish they would just bundle the cashback and transfer it once per month...
@karb I used to have the Amazon VISA card and they offered a similar contract with Berliner Sparkasse so I just went with that because I didn't wanna spend too much time on looking for alternatives tbh ^^''
Was visiting friends yesterday and they showed me two card games they had bought on their trip to the US. My initial thoughts were - as always - "ughhh I hope they don't want me to play with them", because I have this weird initial dislike for most board/card games. They did want to play though, so I went with it, and of course - it's ALWAYS like this - it was fun and I had a good time. I really need to be pushed over the edge first apparently
That initial dislike feeling was heightened when they mentioned that the game they wanted to play was a deck-building game, but it turns out I apparently just had the wrong idea in mind. :D (the game in question was "Here to slay")
I just dumped 114€ into 4 different batches of new stickers
I feel like this should be it for now with new artwork / furry stuff xD I still need money for projects and hopefully my new fursuit sometime this year. (still got two commissions I'm waiting on tho :3)
