Lemon "Yellow" Hearts is my favorite plushy.
I probably won't make it, but I want to see how far I can get.

I post all my art on this account: https://pone.social/@friction check it out if you want. Still learning though.

First day with my new audio setup. Don't worry I'm not getting on the audiophile train or anything.

First thing I did was load up some 192k FLACs of Berlioz's Symphony Fantastique and noticed some lack of flute resolution (definitely colored brown when it should be purple). I manually adjusted the wave balance until the signal stopped ovulating. Some distortion persisted until I checked my balanced XLR cables and discovered that they were not entirely oxygen free. I immediately ordered some new ones on amazon for a few hundred dollars. I also tested the amp and found elevated Thetan levels. Does anybody know how to reduce those?

inertia,
@inertia@pone.social avatar

@RustyCrab have you heard of these new specialized instruments that can drastically modulate the audible frequency response curve? And get this, they work for any audio setup. Doesn't matter what brand your speakers are. Crazy right? Now of course they are rather difficult to use, but trust me, it's worth it! Just ask the nearest licensed birthing person for a quick tutorial.

inertia,
@inertia@pone.social avatar

@RustyCrab different suggestion, but have you tried listening to Beethoven with these baby's on? It will change your life.

inertia,
@inertia@pone.social avatar

@RustyCrab yeah kinda crazy. Never would have assumed that the office team building party sticks could be used for other things than building towers.

Krita's colorize mask is the most niggerlicious tool I have ever seen and I cannot comprehend how people even use it

inertia,
@inertia@pone.social avatar

@RustyCrab I used to like it, till I just colored it in by hand. Much less hassle. But still cool tech in principle

inertia,
@inertia@pone.social avatar

@RustyCrab it does work. Just needs a bunch of fiddling. Maybe my use case is different though

Finished study. Gotta work on improving my speed. Also how do artist do gradients fast?

Can anyone explain why the top of the cube is slightly darker than the ground plane? The surfaces have the exact same normal after all.
I guess it's because the cube top is smaller and thus accumulates less bounce light??

inertia,
@inertia@pone.social avatar

@RustyCrab There is a visible edge between the cube top and ground plane

inertia,
@inertia@pone.social avatar

@RustyCrab I mean, it is more visible in Krita. These screenshots don't show it that much.

inertia,
@inertia@pone.social avatar

@RustyCrab It's a true directional. I'll try rendering only diffuse. Just a sec

inertia,
@inertia@pone.social avatar

@RustyCrab I'm paying attention to that because Artists seem to do that a lot when rendering cubes. They make the top side darker than the ground plane. Or sometimes brighter. I guess because otherwise it would be very hard to see the seperation.

inertia,
@inertia@pone.social avatar

@RustyCrab Yeah, with all bounces set to 0 there is no longer a difference in value.

inertia,
@inertia@pone.social avatar

@RustyCrab I really don't know. I just modified the standard blender scene and switched renderer to cycles. Should be fine since none of them have materials anyways.

inertia,
@inertia@pone.social avatar

@RustyCrab oh wait. I was wrong. The edge remains even without bounces.

inertia,
@inertia@pone.social avatar

@RustyCrab eh, must be an artefact. Thanks for your input.
Maybe another question, what do you think causes this pattern at the edge of the lower cube? Why does it become brighter? Both sides are not illuminated, yet there is some bounce light here. But from where?

inertia,
@inertia@pone.social avatar

@RustyCrab What do you think is the better model for studying?

inertia,
@inertia@pone.social avatar

@RustyCrab Interesting. I always assumed that if the program has the time to throw enough rays at the problem it would deliver a "perfect" result.
I guess it doesn't really matter. Those subtle changes don't matter when drawing.

inertia,
@inertia@pone.social avatar

@RustyCrab Learning how to shade, (assign correct value, apply bounce) using rendering as reference.

@RustyCrab Never say "make a donut" to a horse artist.
It's slang for you now what.

inertia,
@inertia@pone.social avatar

@RustyCrab I could tell you. It's really no issue. Barely an inconvenience. No problem at all. No sir-re. Very possible.

inertia,
@inertia@pone.social avatar

@RustyCrab Excuse me Sir. I can't help but notice that you are choosing the comfortable lie. Are you sure the horrible truth is not preferable?

... we have underground raves... just saying.

inertia,
@inertia@pone.social avatar

@RustyCrab That's actually a very based take. You see, if you die in the matrix you die IRL. If you get out, a robot will hug you. But his arms are made of tentacles with sharp edges. Death is inescapable.

The only choice you have is between your normal live as boring, talking crab. Or a really cool underground rave.

That is the true message of the Matrix! Choices are meaningless.

In that spirit let me tell you what the asshole of a horse looks like. Hint: it is donut shaped.
