@icedquinn Have they set up a remote computer for you already? :blobcatdevil: "What do you mean, just use the open source browser on your home computer to access it!"
@icedquinn
Bitches are going child free due to the economy and having other ways to entertain themselves than plopping out babies. Not to mention the risk for health and other adversial effects of child birth.
> we've read the room and have now successfully removed "AI" from cruelty squad. each enemy is now controlled in almost real time by an employee in a low labor cost country (consumer softproducts)
@icedquinn You're describing my teammates in League of Legends :ablobcatgooglytrash: I swear they just use Indian matchmaking where random dudes get put in matches playing random champions.
honestly wonder what the part cost is on those op-1F's
i did a pricing evaluation on the old ones and i think the markup ended up being 100% or something like that, mostly because if you found comparable screens on ali they were 300$, blackfins are another like 10$, not sure about the custom plastic work.
the new one that they taped on another 600$ to the price though like :blobcatwaitwhat:
@icedquinn But even then the manufacturing expenses are a lot less due to manufacturing in batches and doing bulk orders from the suppliers rather than some retail part seller.
> using a clients camera
i have somewhat been told that the cameraman and the camera are an item and if you ever violate this pact you are asking for suffering
@icedquinn Have fun paying for extra hour or two of the photographer fiddling and testing the camera out. Unless it is a disposable point and shoot camera lol That could result in hilarious photos.
@creamqueen@icedquinn Shitty cameras are great! I suggest doing everything manually (not sure if that camera even has extra sensors in it). Fully mechanical film cameras are fun, but don't use them for anything serious. The bride won't be happy if her wedding photographs are all overexposed after developing them.
@icedquinn
It could have been interlaced broadcast recording or an older DVD. Those are VFR at times (mix of progressive and interlaced content). The "fix" is to either play them back on proper deinterlacing supporting player or deinterlacing them with ffmpeg. Deinterlacing with 2x framerate (bobbing etc) results in a bigger file, but obviously smoother motion.
Was deinterlacing what chatgpt recommended? Or did it tell you to drop frames or something? @jamie
power goes out

@icedquinn I see. Can you lower the bitrate/quality on the camera's end? Of course less optimal if need to edit it further, but I think that would "fix" the issue. Just need to figure the highest quality you can export continuously without filling the buffers.
@icedquinn That's all?! So no on-demand encoding settings? Wow. I mean, it isn't exporting uncompressed, right? So there is encoding going on, so why limit that to just one preset...
@icedquinn@mangeurdenuage You would still need glasses? Did the doctors tell you that? I know couple people who have done the correcting procedures and they can live without glasses, but their sight was a lot better than mine... So I'm still indecisive about getting surgery or keep using contacts.
