the way around server side ad injection is to download two videos and just remove differing chunks by the way. I expect some YT clients will do this, but streaming will just be fucked. Thankfully nobody I care about has streamed on youtube for years now.

1917 (1917 (2019))

Finished this yesterday and didn't post a review. One of the most gripping movies I've ever seen. I was extremely impressed with how it was filmed (presented as a single shot) and how effectively it conveyed a real sense of danger without over-dramatizing as films tend to do.

I don't call many things a "must see" but this is one of them.

Equilibrium (2002)

Profoundly ridiculous movie. The premise is that feeling emotions is illegal. This is a PROPER B movie with a B movie plot, B movie acting, but somehow they roped Christian Bale into this. They also showed what you can do with B movie fight choreography combined with a big budget.

THIS MAN IS GUILTY OF HAVING RELATIONS WITH A FEMALE

10/10, but watch it with friends
