If I were to design an appliance that incorporates a beeper, I'd use a frequency of 3900 Hz instead of the ever-popular 4000 Hz just to mess with people

This winter is a really good stress test of my backupsystem, I lost : two 2TB HDDs a single 4TB HDD, and a single 256GB SSD. 😅

My system worked really well so far, but I am still suprised that I lost ALL of my hot & online mass storage devices :D

I managed to completely rewrite the serial protocol for the customer's project to be more reliable and flexible. The previous developer had some interesting ideas about how it should be done, which made it really awkward to use.

Seit meine Freunde und Verwandte irgendwie mitbekommen haben, dass ich Imkerhonig mag bekomme ich regelmäßig Honiggläser aus regionaler Erzeugung geschenkt.

Two years ago, the city of Aschaffenburg shut down their electronic bus stop displays because of software issues and said they were going to get rid of them in the future. I kept asking them about it and they kept telling me they don't know yet when they're going to remove them. Last week, I noticed that the displays were now gone, so I asked them again, and they now told me that the displays have already been scrapped. Damn it :(

I tried annealing it, even measured the temperature inside the oven to prevent it being too high. What a complete fucking failure. It totally distorted, the support didn't hold up and I can't even remove the support anymore. Need to reprint the fucking thing 😩
