So I've been away for a week. Boredom at work is the main reason I keep coming back here :).
The break changed my perspective on this place a bit. It's not as fun as it was. Even the memes feel worse/are repeats.
Haven't found a single topic the entire day I wanted to interact with.
Maybe thats just a coincidence.
@PurpCat@inertia remember that these "big numbers" come from cancerous politisperg NPCs which is a gigantic chunk of the population. This is true on the right as well as left. You dont want those people here.
@RustyCrab@inertia That's why I think enthusiasm for bluesky in particular has burned out. Bluesky only appeals to bubble wrapped individuals, and the Patrick Tomlinsons of the world. You'll notice that despite hating Twitter, he doesn't use bsky as often because it's a dead site and there's nobody making jokes about his wife or the pepperoni grinder to make him continue engaging. He's also really fucking boring when he's not being prodded. https://bsky.app/profile/stealthygeek.bsky.social
my big screen tv is making me watch youtube ads... so sorry if I seem more deranged than usual.
I did see a joghurt and bought it and also want to watch "the wild robot"
What can I say, my heart is not made out of stone. Ads don't leave me cold.
@RustyCrab@PurpCat I have a pihole. It doesn't block youtube ads cause those are serverd from the same domain as the video itself.
all in all having the pihole is barely noticable for anything. I asked other people using the connection and no one noticed any difference lol.
>I Quit My Job To Make Indie Games - How It’s Going
> I'm planning on releasing a few more games in the next 6 to 8 months.
I don't get this. I get quitting your job for a moonshot project or passion project. But he releases quickly made shovel-ware games developed in ludicrously low timeframes.
Why? What compels you to do this? And his next "game" isn't even a game. It's a decorate this thing "game" with zero gameplay mechanics.
